Two accidents leave four people severely injured

Netcare 911 paramedics this morning rushed to an accident scene on the R59 in Vereeniging whereby two people were left seriously injured. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said when we arrived on scene we found that a motor vehicle had rear-ended a heavy goods vehicle and another motor vehicle rear-ended the vehicle.

Steinmann said the two people were treated on scene and were transported to hospital for further medical care.

Meanwhile in another accident also in Vereeniging two people sustained injuries in a side impact accident this morning. 

Steinmann said the exact injuries they sustained will be determined by doctors in hospital. 

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
