Two men injured in an accident near George

 NSRI Still in Bay volunteer sea rescue duty crew to a request of the Emergency Services to assist Emergency Services at a severe motor vehicle accident involving two local men on a motorcycle and a motor vehicle believed to have been involved in a head on collision.

NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said on arrival on-scene two NSRI Still Bay medics assisted the WC Government Health EMS paramedics treating who were the two men that had been on the motorcycle suffering multiple critical injuries.

Lambinon said the two adult men, who were on the motorcycle, have been transported to hospital by EMS ambulance in critical conditions suffering severe multiple injuries and both men, who have since been transferred to a hospital in George, one of whom is on artificial life support, remain in critical conditions.

The cause of the incident is still unknown at this stage and the police are investigating.
