ER24 paramedics responded to taxi accident near Kempton Park in Johannesburg on Tuesday whereby fourteen people were injured.

It is believed that the taxi carrying the passengers overturned several times resulting in some people being ejected from the taxi.

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said the vehicle had apparently rolled numerous times, ejecting some of the occupants.

Meiring added that Emergency workers treated the two critical patients providing them with advanced life support before immobilizing them on spine boards. They were transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.

He also said the remaining patients sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were treated and transported by various services on scene.
