Netcare 911
paramedics and other services responded to an accident scene in Pinetown,
whereby a 10 year-old child was knocked down by a taxi on the M13 west bound
this morning.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when they arrived on scene they found the body lying in the road. Reports indicate that the child was on his way to school.
“He ran around the
front of the vehicle and tried to run across the when he was hit by another
taxi,” Botha added
Botha further added
that after they examined him they found that he had tragically died due to the
extensive injuries that he sustained.
