A man injured after being knocked by a car

A man was last night left critically injured this is after he was knocked over by a light motor vehicle on William Nicol drive in Fourways.

ER24 paramedics found the man lying on the road with his clothes baldy torn.

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said on upon  assessment paramedics discovered that the patient sustained major head trauma. Advanced life support was performed on the patient while the ER24 medical helicopter were called in to assist in the treatment of the patient

“Once the patient was in a stable condition he was transported by the medical helicopter to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment. The cause of the incident is unknown and local authorities were on scene for further investigation” said Meiring.
