The Department of Home Affairs
released its statistics for the Easter Holiday which revealed that the highest
volume ports of entry during Easter weekend included Oliver Tambo International Airport Beit Bridge
The top five nationalities who were
recorded arriving and departing from the country were Lesotho Zimbabwe Swaziland Botswana Mozambique United
Kingdom
Departmental Spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa
said the department immigration section processed a total of 764 000 and
64 616 travelers at South
Africa
He added that total figure comprises
of 535 950 foreigners and 218 South Africans.
