A 30 year-old mother was arrested for hacking baby to death

Police in Limpopo arrested a 30 year old woman for allegedly hacking one of her three-month-old twins to death with an axe, in Ha-Mutsha Village near Thohoyandou.
 
Police Spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi said the badly injured baby was rushed to Tshilidzini hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
 
Mulaudzi said they were informed about the incident by the community members who first rescued the other twin. They were busy with investigations.
 
They arrested the twin’s mother and she appeared in Vuwani Magistrates’ Court today.
