ER24 paramedics this morning attended to a situation
whereby a man was stabbed multiple times on Church Street Bridge in
Pietermaritizburg.
The man was allegedly robbed and stabbed while
hitchhiking. The man in his twenties was found lying against the roadside in a
pool of blood.
ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said the patient had
sustained stab wounds on his arms and chest.
Advanced life support was performed on him before he
was transported to Northdale Hospital for urgent
medical treatment.
