An accident leaves one person dead and two injured

ER24 paramedics this morning attended to an accident on the R500 near Fochville in Gauteng whereby a man was killed and two others injured. 

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said it is believed that a bakkie overturned and came to a standstill on the side of the road. 

Meiring said on inspection, paramedics discovered that one man had sustained fatal injuries when he was ejected from the vehicle. Two other occupants, a woman and child, were also left in a critical condition.

“Advanced life support was performed on the young woman and child before they were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.” Meiring added.
