Three men arrested following mob justice attacks in Mpumalanga

Police in Gauteng said through investigation it can confirm that a mob justice video that went viral is authentic.

Police managed to arrest three men on a charge of murder following the mob justice attack which took place in Mpumalanga. 

Lieutenant General Solomon Makgale said more arrests are possible.

Makgale said the mob justice incident was as a result of another incident that happened earlier this year on the 17^th of February where there were suspects that were involved in the murder of a man and a women as well as raping this couple’s daughter.

Makgale said now what happened whilst the police were investigating the community manage to get hold of the two suspects and killed them.

“We fortunately managed to arrest other two suspects who are subjected to appear in court Makgale added.
