ACDP applauds the State for heavier punishment of perpetrators

The African Christian Democratic
Party in the Western Cape has
applauded the State for pushing for the heaviest punishment for Vuyisile
Stofile.
He was convicted last month on
several crimes including rape and robbery with aggravating circumstances. It is alleged that he would lure woman from
Nyanga Junction as they made their way to GF Jooste Hospital early
morning.

Christians said the State must swiftly convict and prosecute perpetrators and
to deter future offenders.
Christians said the period of time
we were calling on the Government to review the parole system and also denied
bail on certain serious crimes. We also said that heavier sentences must be on
pose for certain categories of crime.
“The ACDP calls on the state to act
swiftly to prosecute perpetrators to stir future offenders of the law. We are
glad that state is sending out a message that crime does not pay Christians
