DA Leader of the Party’s Women’s Network and MP for Women in the Presidency Denise Robinson said domestic workers are some of the most vulnerable workers in the country, and too often find themselves at the receiving end of abuse by employers.
The Democratic Alliance has called for the
abuse of domestic workers to stop. This as a man has been accused of
assaulting his domestic worker.
DA Leader of the Party’s Women’s Network and MP for Women in the Presidency Denise Robinson said domestic workers are some of the most vulnerable workers in the country, and too often find themselves at the receiving end of abuse by employers.
Robinson said we appeal to everybody to deal
with one another in a respectful manner.
It’s really disappointing that there are some people who are so
confrontational.
“We will work towards creating better
relationships between employers and employees.
We will certainly be taking up the fight for domestic workers, and we will
be going to court next week in support to say kwanele kwanele, enough is enough”
Robinson added.
