Ministerial Spokesperson Ewald Botha said he will also be raising the ongoing investigation with the Provincial Police Commissioner General Arno Lamoer to ensure that we do not fail victims and their families.

Plato has expressed his concerns regarding developments on the case of the man
who raped and murdered a 9-year-old girl in Delft .
Charges this week were provisionally
withdrawn against the suspects because of lack of evidence.
Plato said this is a blow to our justice system when yet another case is being shelved because of insufficient evidence.
Ministerial Spokesperson Ewald Botha said he will also be raising the ongoing investigation with the Provincial Police Commissioner General Arno Lamoer to ensure that we do not fail victims and their families.
“A successful investigation leading to a
court conviction requires all stake holders to play their part.Shortly before
youth day this case must not be remembered as the day our criminal justice
system failed our innocent youth Botha added.
