Ramaphosa to address the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Forum

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is today expected to address the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Partners Forum in Johannesburg. 

The forum aims to emphasis the need to ensure the empowerment, wellbeing, and social protection of the world's most vulnerable people, especially women and children. 

The theme for the forum is “accelerate progress, envision the future”. 

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa Spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa The forum is also expected to be addressed by the Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi and Mrs Graca Machel, in her capacity as the Chairperson of the partnership for Maternal, New-born and Child Health.

The two day forum will bring together health professionals, policy makers, business leaders and advocates to deliberate on progress towards and beyond the Millennium Development Goals on the issue of maternal, new-born and child health.
