A ten year old boy was in a critical condition after he was struck by a car along Boundary lane in Malvern last night.

Botha added that when they arrived at the scene they found that the child had been run over with the front wheel and when the vehicle came to rest his arm was under the rear wheel.

Paramedics stabilised the critically injured boy at the scene before he was transported to the R K Khan Hospital under the care of an advanced life support paramedic.

In a separate accident four people were injured after a vehicle rolled on the M4 south nears the desainagar traffic circle this morning.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the patients out of the wreckage, one had sustained serious injuries while three escaped with minor injuries.

Paramedics stabilised the injured on scene before transporting them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
