Three suspects caught with illegal cigarettes

A 38-year-old suspect is under police guard in hospital after he was arrested for culpable homicide and defeating the ends of justice in Musina. 

Police received information about six vehicles that were transporting illegal cigarettes. 

However the cars were involved in a head on collision accident. 

Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said upon arrival police found that the two vehicles had collided and the suspects were busy removing the cigarettes and when they saw the police three of them fled the scene and the injured driver of the bakkie was taken to hospital under police guard.
