City advises residents of road closures in Parow

Oscar Thomas
13 July 2014

Road users should please take note that Voortrekker Road in Parow will be closed off for traffic approaching from Belville on Sunday, 13 July 2014, as to allow the City to undertake urgent repairs on a leaking water main.

Robertson said both inbound lanes will be closed off from 09:00 until the completion of the remedial work. Traffic approaching from the Bellville side will be diverted left into Norden Street, right into King Edward Road, right into Picton Street and left again back onto Voortrekker Road.

One outbound lane will also be closed due to the location and the equipment requirements for the repair work.

“The City regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their patience. The project team is doing all that it can to minimise disruption Robertson added.
