13 arrested in Mossel Bay for public violence

Southern Cape police have
arrested thirteen people who were involved in violent protest on Sunday and
today.
Police spokesperson Malcolm Pojie said the protestors destroyed property and rubber bullets had to be used to disperse the crowd.

Police believe that the disgruntled
residents were protesting over electricity issues in the Kwanonqaba Township .
The arrested are expected to appear in
court in Tuesday on charges of public violence.
Pojie said most of the protesters were not
even sure what was the match about.
