Ambulance assistance killed in an accident

A 34-year-old ambulance assistant was killed this morning when she and her two children were involved in a motor vehicle accident.

The accident took place at the St. Helena Bay Veldrif turnoff.

Emergency Management Services Spokesperson Robert Daniels said two patients from the other vehicle as well as the two children are in a critical condition.

He added that they were rushed to Vredenburg Provincial Hospital as well as a private medical facility in the area by EMS ambulance.
