The Democratic Alliance on Thursday welcomed the ruling by the Western Cape High Court to dismiss the South African National Roads Agency Limited’s application for documents relating to the N1/N2 highways.
Sanral wanted to keep certain documents of
the details of the project to be not made public.
DA Provincial Leader Ivan Meyer said it is
becoming abundantly clear that Sanral’s N1/N2 tolling project is doomed to
fail.
Meyer said the DA has won the case to have
it in open court whereas Sanral wanted to have this discussion in closed court.
