24-year-old to appear in court for drug possession

KwaZulu Natal Police arrested a 24-year-old man in Phoenix for possession of drugs including cocaine and ecstasy tablets. 

Police Spokesperson Jay Naicker said the suspect was found in possession of rock cocaine, cocaine powder as well as ecstasy tablets valued at R8100, 000.

Naicker said we are very pleased with the work of the Flying Squad Narcotics Team and they work largely with information supplied by the members of the public.

He added that this type of collaboration is contributing in stabilizing and reducing serious crimes in the province.

The 24-year-old suspect is expected to appear in court on Monday.
