A shooting incident in Mitchell’s Plain leaves one person dead

One person died another one was left critically injured following a shooting incident at BP garage in Morgenster Road, Mitchell’s Plain.

Police are currently investigating the cause of the shooting.

Western Cape Emergency Services Spokesperson Robert Daniels said both sustained gunshots injuries to a head and chest.

Daniels added that the surviving man was stabilised on scene and rushed to Mitchell’s Plain District hospital in a stable condition by EMS Ambulance.

n another incident six people were left injured this is after a minibus and motor vehicle collided into each other on Kingfisher Avenue in Boksburg. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle and a minibus had collided resulting in six people being injured

Steinmann added that two people were found in a critical condition while four others sustained series injuries.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
