Five people died in Beaufort West collision

An accident this morning outside Beaufort West has left five people dead and ten others injured after a bakkie and trailer rolled on the Aberdeen road.

Western Cape Emergency Medical Services Spokesperson Robert Daniels said three children are among the injured.

Daniels added that all the injured patients were transported to Beaufort West Hospital.

The exact details to the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
