Tracing operations led to eight people being arrested in KZN

Police in Kwa-Zulu Natal have conducted tracing operations in Nongoma, the operation has led to eight suspects being arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms and stolen goods.

Police Spokesperson Thulani Zwane said the operation targeted suspects who were involved in several housebreakings that were reported in the area. 

Zwane added that the stolen goods that were recovered include cellphones, house hold appliances as well as firearm.

“All those suspects have already appeared in the Nongoma Magistrate Court facing these charges

These operations will continue in the area to get rid of these criminals who are operating and breaking into the houses in the area.” Zwane said.
