A man shot dead in Randburg

A shooting incident in Middelvlei in Randburg left one person dead late last night. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said reports from the scene indicate that the shooting incident happened during a robbery.

Steinmann said when paramedics arrived on the scene they found that the man had tragically died after he succumbed to a gunshot wound.

The exact details of the cause of the shooting will remain the subject of a police investigation.
