Uitehage K9 and Crime Intelligence members seize drugs worth almost R 11 000-00

Uitenhage Cluster members cracked down on drug dealers again.

A joint operation between Uitenhage K9 Unit and the Crime Intelligence Unit yielded positive results on Friday, 14 November 2014.

Members acted on information and obtained a search warrant.

Warrant Officer Gerda Swart said the premises were searched and with the assistance of the K9 dog, Indy, dagga was discovered in two containers inside a bedroom.

Swart said Dagga estimated to the value of R11 000-00 was seized.

“Two suspects a male, 29-years-old, and a female, 25-years-old, were arrested and are due to appear in the Kwanobuhle Magistrate’s court on Monday, 17 November 2014 on a charge of dealing in dagga
Swart added.
