A 26 year old arrested for dealing in Drugs

A 26-year-old man was arrested this week for being in possession and dealing in drugs in Woodstock. 

The suspect was arrested following an operation conducted by the Cape Town Cluster Police members at two houses in Wright Street. 

Captain FC van Wyk said the suspect is a well-known drug dealer in the area. 

FC van Wyk added that the suspect was found in possession of 22 units tik with an estimated street value of R2 000.00 and R10 000.00 in cash.

"He was detained and will remain in custody at Woodstock SAPS, and will be charged for dealing in drugs and is due to appear at the Cape Town Magistrate Court on Monday 15 December 2014." van Wyk said.

Police wish to thank the community of Woodstock for their cooperation in reporting drug trafficking.
