A search for a
12-year-old girl who went missing in a lagoon in Jeffreys Bay

Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said they were activated following reports of two
girls drowning between Aston Bay Paradise Beach
Lambinon added
that it appears her and another 12 year old girl had run into the water,
yesterday. The water has deep section and shallow sections, when they
encountered a deep section, it appears both children can’t swim and one
disappeared on the water, while the other one managed to get out safely.
“The one that
got out safely was taken to hospital and subsequently been released,” Lambinon said
