Alleged hijacker killed in truck collision

A man believed to be a hijacker died in an accident
involving a motor vehicle and a truck this morning,on the corner of the R553 and
the R28 between Vanderbijlpark and Sebokeng.
ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said He allegedly
hijacked a motor vehicle and injured the driver and then fled the scene with
the alleged stolen car. While fleeing he collided with a truck and sustained
fatal injuries.
Bodasing added that the victim of the
alleged hijacking sustained stab wounds and was transported by ER24 paramedics
to Sebokeng Hospital
Exact details to the cause of the collision
will remain the subject of a police investigation.
