A 52-year-old man was arrested in Maitland following a drug bust.
A 52-year-old man was arrested in Maitland following a drug bust.
Colonel Thembinkosi Kinana said the arrest comes
after police received a tip-off regarding a drug operation happening at a
business premises.
Kinana said upon searching the premises police
found 63 bags of each containing mandrax powder as well as 18 plastic bags
containing tic. The drugs found were estimated to the street value of R9
million.
“The man is also believed to be the manager of the
business was arrested on charges of dealing in drugs and he is appearing in the
