An accident this morning on the N1 near Kroonstad
left one person dead and another seriously injured.
This is after a truck and a car collided into each
other resulting in the truck veering off the road and landed in a maize
plantation.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said “ when we
arrived the scene we found that a lady had tragedly died on scene from severe
injuries and a male patient suffered severe injuries, he want treated on scene
and transported to the local hospital.
The exact details to the cause of the accident will
remain the subject of a police investigation.
