Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa to wrap up SADC Facilitation Mission

Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa, will today visit Lesotho for a ceremony to close down the Southern African Development Community Facilitation Mission.

Ramaphosa was the SADC facilitator to the mountain kingdom involved in creating conditions for the recent general election.

Deputy President Spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa said the ceremony which will witness the lowering of the SADC Flag and the official closing down of the SADC Facilitation Mission will be addressed by the Facilitator, Deputy President Ramaphosa, Lesotho’s Prime Minister Phakalitha Mosisili and SADC Executive Secretary Dr Stergomena Lawrence Tax.

Deputy President Ramaphosa is expected to return to South Africa on Tuesday 31 March 2015.
