Minister of International
Relations and Cooperation Maite Nkoana-Mashabane has described the late
Minister of Public Service and Administration Collins Chabane as a selfless
cadre who served his country well.
Minister Chabane together with
his two bodyguards died in a car accident on the N1 highway in Limpopo on Sunday morning.
The Presidency announced on
Tuesday that a memorial service will be held tomorrow and he will be buried on
Saturday in his home village.
Mashabane said she thinks in
Chabane we have lost a husband, a father, a selfless cadre, a strategist but
most of all for her a personal lost of a comrade who she had the honour to
serve with as an ordinary member of the African National Congress.
