A man died early this morning on the N12 at the Snake Road off-ramp in
Benoni after he was knocked over by a bakkie.
ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring says ER24 paramedics from the central
branch arrived on scene and found a bakkie on the side of the road with the driver
walking around at the scene.
A few meters away from the vehicle lies a lifeless body of a patient.
Meiring added that “on assessment paramedics found the patient had
already succumbed to the severe injuries to his head and chest unfortunately
nothing could be done for the patient.
The driver of the bakkie fortunately did not sustain any injuries”,
Meiring added.
