A truck collided with a Bakkie on the M61 outside Bloemfontein

A truck and a bakkie collided on the M61 and left one man critically injurered.
 
ER24 paramedics on arrival found the damaged bakkie in a ditch on the side of the road.
 
Patients were assessed and treated. ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing says one person sustained critical injuries another minor injuries in Meyerton.
 
The bakkie lost control and drove into a ditch. The two men were found by paramedics lying on the road. They were transported to hospital for further treatment.
 
The truck driver was uninjured. Meanwhile, on the N8 outside Bloemfontein, a man believed to be in his 30’s sustained critical injuries when a car he was driving t-boned a truck.
 
It is understood that bystanders took the man out of the car. On arrival, Paramedics assessed and treated the man.
 
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing says about 40 kilometers outside Bloemfontein, ER24 paramedics arrived on scene found the vehicle under the trailer of the truck.
The man was later transported to hospital for further medical care. The truck driver was uninjured, Bodasing added.
