Premier Hele Zille and Alan
Winde, Minster of Economic Opportunities, will lead a delegation to Angola to
strengthen trade and investment between the region and the Western Cape.

Winde officially departed this morning. Premier Helen Zille’s spokesperson
Michael Mpofu says “the Premier and Minister Winde left for Angola on a two day
trip to basically explore trade and investment opportunities for both countries”.
Mpofu adde that “as you would
know that Angola and the Western Cape have had some really improved diplomatic
relations, so we going back to explore these further and hopefully we will be
able to see some increase in investment in both sides, that will create jobs and
grow our economies”.
