A new born found in a dustbin in the park

A new born baby was found in a dustbin in Trim Park, Potchefstroom late last night.

This follows the discovery of another baby on Saturday in Elandskop, KwaZulu-Natal.

This as Child Protection Week came to an end yesterday.

ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing says the baby was found in the dustbin in the park.

ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found a baby showed no signs of life, the baby was declared dead.

Authorities were on scene to investigate.
