COSATU welcomes wage agreement signed by Sactwu

The Congress of South African Trade Union has welcomed the wage agreement signed by the South African Clothing and Textile Workers Union for textile workers.

About 85 000 clothing workers will benefit from the agreement which will come into effect on the 1st of September 2015.

Cosatu Acting National Spokesperson Ntai Norman Mampane said 85 000 clothing workers stand to benefit from this collective agreement.

Mampane added that COSATU believe that the struggle with living in South Africa must be persuade without any failure.
