A man was killed after his vehicle rolled in Limpopo

A man was killed yesterday after his vehicle rolled multiples times on the Eiland Spa Road in Letsitele, Limpopo.

ER24 paramedics were alerted to the scene were bystanders had witnessed the collision.

ER24’s spokesman, Russel Meiring said on arrival, paramedics found a light motor vehicle some distance away from the road engulfed in flames. A lifeless body of a male patient lay some distance away from his vehicle.

“On assessment of the patient, paramedics discovered that he had sustained multiple, fatal injuries to his head and chest. Unfortunately nothing more could be done for the patient and he was declared dead on scene” Meiring said.

Meiring added that fire services managed to extinguish the vehicle fire shortly after their arrival on scene.

It is understood that the driver was pulled from the vehicle by bystanders on scene.

The exact cause to the collision will remain the subject of a police investigation.
