Five people arrested in Gauteng for house robbery

Police in Gauteng have arrested five suspects following a house robbery.

Police Spokesperson Katlego Mogale said during the house robbery, the suspects fled with an Ipad, Audi Q5, jewellery and laptops.

Mogale added that the owner activated "find my ipad" and relayed information to the Tembisa police who traced it to a house in Klipfontein Ext 3, Libya Street. 

“As they approached the house, two suspects were arrested by the gate and three more in the house. They have recovered three cars and some of the electronics they fled with from the house robbery” Mogale.


Cases of armed robbery, possession of suspected hijacked and stolen motor vehicles, possession of suspected stolen property as well as possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition have been opened for investigation.
