South African Students’ Congress calling for free education

Lusanda Bill
28 July 2015

The South African Students’ Congress calls on the TVET Colleges to intensify the strikes in demand of free education across South Africa.

The Students’ Congress does not believe that the government takes students demands as seriously or urgently as the students deserve.

Students’ Congress Secretary General Luzuko Buku said government’s announcement that there is free education for the poor is not what is happening in reality.

Buku said students need to join this strike so that there can be free education in the country.
