A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection
with three alleged robberies that took place in the Ekhurhuleni area.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday following an
anti-crime joint operation.
Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo said we arrested a man initially
who was found to be in possession of a vehicle that was suspected to be stolen.
That vehicle we later verified as the vehicle that was hijacked in April this
year.
Naidoo said after conducting follow-up investigation
and profiling of the suspect we further discovered he had a string of convictions
including murder, attempted murder and armed robbery.
