Suspects arrested in Woodstock robbery

Five suspects have been arrested for armed robbery and possession of unlicensed fire-arms and ammunition in Woodstock.

 The victims of the robbery were able to give descriptions of the suspects and the car’s registration number, which the police followed up on.

Sergeant Hilton Malila said,” Members of the Woodstock police station arrested Five men in Voortrekker road for an armed robbery incident committed in Salt River.”

Malila added that a 9mm was confiscated upon arrest, including the complainant’s personal items.


Suspects will appear in the Cape Town magistrates Court Malila said.
