The Congress of the People released a statement today calling for justice without politics.

Using the Oscar Pistorious parole process as a point, spokesperson for COPE Dennis Bloem said the Oscar Pistorious case should not be politicized.

He called out both the Minister of Justice Micheal Masutha and the ANC Womens League of being politically selective.

Dennis Bloem, said Cope were asking that the Minister of Justice must take out the politics from justice it is not correct that we are mixing administrative justice with political justice

Bloem said, “It is a very dangerous thing that the Minister is trading on the ANC Women’s youth League, must not be selective when it comes to parole.”
