Police in Woodstock arrested suspects for dagga

Woodstock police have arrested four suspects for dealing in Dagga.

Spokesperson Hilton Malila said they followed up on information received from the community about illegal activities that are taking place on the corners of Victoria Road and Essex Street.

Malila said, “During a preliminary investigation that lead the police to the house of the owner of the Fruit and Veg store (sic). And we have confiscated two big bags filled with dagga.”


All suspects are due to appear in Cape Town Magistrate’s court on charges relating to possession and dealing in dagga.
