Two people died when a light aircraft crashed into
a sugar cane in Winklespruit in Durban.
It is believed that the pilot and a passenger were
the only people on board.
Netcare911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when they
arrived at the scene they found the plane had gone down into a veldt and burst
into flames in flames. The two occupants tragically died due to very severe
injuries that they had sustained.
Exact details to the cause of the accident will
remain the subject of a police investigation.
