Western Cape MEC of Health reopens Community Health Centre

On Monday, the Western Cape MEC of Health, Nomafrench Mbombo opened the new and upgraded Community Health Centre in Du Noon.
The centre will provide accessible healthcare packages to a community of approximately ninety thousand members from Du Noon including the surrounding areas.
The Du Noon Community Health Centre has been operational since 15 December 2014 and has been receiving a growing number of clients from various cultural backgrounds.
The MEC’s spokesperson Monique Johnson said, “The operating hours of the facility will be from 7:30am till 16:00pm from Monday to Friday and it has recently extended its emergency centres hours from 7:30pm to 8:00pm from Monday to Thursday. It’s part of the additional services that the new facility provides. And they also recently extended their emergency hours from Saturday to Sunday from 7:30am to 3pm.”
