Members of the African National Congress will today visit the community of Lwandle in Strand following the attack of a bus.

Two men died and over 30 passengers were wounded when three petrol bombs were hurled at the double-decker luxury liner in Strand earlier this week.

Driver, Denis Moyo claims the attack was aimed at him after he refused to participate in an ongoing strike.

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa said allegations that some of its members may be behind the Intercape bus attack, is a smear campaign.

ANC Khaya Jozi reported that the ANC condems such tragic events, we don’t know as of yet who the culprits are.

We are aware that the workers or employees of Intercape are striking but we are also aware that the strike is coming to an end.

“We are still going to find out whether the culprits are former employees or not” Jozi concluded.
