Five die on N3 head-on collision in Warden

An accident along the N3 South near Warden left five people tragically died.

It is understood that a vehicle collided head on with a heavy good truck.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when they arrived at the scene they found that the occupants were still trapped in the wreckage. There was five people one of them was a child tragically they all died due to severe injuries they had sustained.

Bothat added that the driver of the truck escaped from the crash but visibly traumatised.

Exact details to the cause of the collision will remain the subject of police investigation.
