Man killed on Seven Passes road in the Western Cape

Last night a man was killed after his vehicle rolled multiple times on the Seven Passes Road in Touwsriver in the Western Cape.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring reported that ER24 paramedics received the emergency call and immediately responded to the scene on the gravel road.

On their arrival, paramedics found a light motor vehicle lying on its roof in the middle of the road.

Meiring said a lifeless body of a man lay a few metres away.

On further assessment, paramedics found the man had sustained multiple fatal injuries.

Nothing more could be done for the patient and he was declared dead on the scene.

Four other occupants from the vehicle were assessed by paramedics.

Fortunately the men escaped without injury.


Local Authorities were on scene for further investigations, Meiring concluded
